關於Cameron Camden
Cam是TNG的PM。高中開始接觸劇場，大學主修技術劇場，也在Summer Stock中累積TD經驗。在Juilliard當了一年的Technical Direction Apprentice。之後去Yale念TD&P。
關於The New Group（簡稱為TNG）
成立於1995年的外百老匯劇團，致力於發展與製作「powerful, contemporary theater」（不知道powerful怎麼翻，就貼原文）。有名的獎項與製作包含2004年東尼獎的最佳音樂劇「Avenue Q」。TNG沒有自己的劇場，2014開始常駐在Pershing Square Signature Center，也就是我們家STC的劇場。
這是一個小的劇團（「小」是Cam自己說的）。員工約12人。一年約三個製作。製作期基本上不會重疊，分散在秋、冬與春三季。Executive Director負責處理場地/與STC協調場地。
TNG的製作人員只有Cam一位PM。每個製作都需要雇用TD與Supervisors。TD尤其難找，因為「Freelance TDs are not common」。所以Pre-show階段Cam通常要兼著做TD的工作。燈光會非常involve在前置階段。音響則跟廠商合作。
PM的工作
掌握「錢與時間」。進場時的時候會一直在，讓TD/Supervisors/Heads負責帶領裝台，但「be around and help guide」。
PM需要的能力
「有很多層面。」Cam說完這句，就接著講了以下一大串：
Be sure to have the conversations with the creatives
to know about their needs; know how to lead the process and move things forward;
not to plan things too deep, be flexible and have adaptability; be efficient; have
eyes on everything; be patient. Lots of things come to you. Be good at time
management and people management。
Cam說，技術的能力重要，但也不是最必要的，如果今天TNG的PM不像他有TD背景，可能會發展出另一種工作模式，比方說就要更早雇用TD之類的。重要的還是「help facilitate conversation, be there and make things happen」
